Solace Circle is a community song circle led by Kazimea Sokil. We sing simple songs learned informally and orally (no sheet music) – sometimes with parts or in rounds. There is a theme each month, relevant to the natural cycles and pagan high days. Our purpose is to nourish our spirits with uplifting, thoughtful, poignant, emotion-carrying songs. Songs we can hum for days. Songs that can comfort, sustain and inspire us in the difficult times to come. The Work that Reconnects, Unitarian and other song circles are sources for us. Check below for links to separate pages for lyrics & audio clips for each theme.

No previous experience needed.
2SLGBTQIA+ welcoming. Ages 18+.
Please RSVP to kazimeasokil@gmail.com by the Sunday before each date

Suggested donation $10 – if this is too much, please come as a guest.

Sponsored by the Comox Valley Unitarian Fellowship and Creekside Commons
Location: Courtenay – Details when you RSVP.

The Work that Reconnects helps people discover and experience their innate connections with each other and the self-healing powers of the web of life, transforming despair and overwhelm into inspired, collaborative action. ~ Joanna Macy
