You are invited to join this monthly circle, based on Joanna Macy’s Work That Reconnects. (https://workthatreconnects.org/)

PLEASE NOTE: This is a community connection peer group, NOT a therapy group

Every last Thursday of the month, 7- 9pm.
Quiet, thoughtful activities that will allow us to express gratitude, grief, sorrow and connectedness to the state of the world, our community and each other. We will emerge perhaps more aware of our brokenness, but also of our togetherness.

Some of what we will do:
Haudenosaunee Thanksgiving Address (Indigenous earth-centred gratitude practice)
Elm Dance (a movement structure to contain and transform grief and worry)
Meditations, visualizations
Songs from the WTR, Unitarian and other canons

No previous experience needed.
2SLGBTQIA+ welcoming. Ages 18+.
First session January 26, 2023
Please RSVP to kazimeasokil@gmail.com
By donation
Location: Courtenay
Details when you RSVP.

The Work that Reconnects helps people discover and experience their innate connections with each other and the self-healing powers of the web of life, transforming despair and overwhelm into inspired, collaborative action.
